Nobel laureate, Prof Amartya Sen, said in Dec 2008, that India’s primary problem was that of hunger, yet it is unrecognized and neglected. Most people are unaware of this huge issue. It is time for us to do something and do it now.
Srishti Annam’s vision is to feed 100,000 people everyday at 40 centers throughout the country. To keep this noble program afloat, we would like to bring Srishti Annam to the notice of people who care about the community and request your help. “Adopt a person” The cost of feeding one person an unlimited meal every day, works out to Rs. 20. For Rs. 600 ($14) per month, you can adopt one person and ensure that he or she stays alive and well.

Spread the awareness: Let’s find the 100,000 people who are going to do this task!! Every drop of water counts towards making the mighty ocean. We request you to spread the word to at least five others whom you think will be serious about this problem and doing something about it. Our vision of opening multiple centers to feed the destitute, the hungry the maimed and feeding at least 100,000 people every day can be fulfilled if we can find 100,000 people who can spare Rs 20 a day towards this worthy cause. Our website is updated daily with the number and names of sponsors towards Srishti Annam’s 100,000 drives, each giving Rs 20 per day.  Together, we can! Thanks for your support.

Everyday as your family has its food, you will have the blessing of knowing that at least one destitute person has also been fed by you on that day and is alive due to that fact. Your name will be mentioned on our website along with the number of people you have adopted. We request each family to take up the daily feeding of one, two or more people everyday, according to your means.

This commitment will be for Rs. 600 ($14) per month per person fed and works out to be Rs. 7200 ($168) yearly. If you can feed two people, it would be Rs. 14,400 (336) yearly etc. This feeding can also be done in the name of your beloved ones or in memory of departed souls, who would have supported this cause. The checks can be sent to “Srishti Foundation”. This is a registered, non-profit foundation which will issue you 80-G receipts for tax deduction purposes. The payments can be made on an annual, semi-annual or quarterly basis. If you wish to feed a larger number of people, then monthly payments can be made. You can use Paypal if you prefer to pay via credit card. The checks can be sent to:
